Lakes Climber and Runner is a two-storey retailer based in the Lake District. They have been using Pearl to run their entire operation, end-to-end for everything from stock control and purchase orders to email and EPOS.
Since buying the stock and property from the company previously at the same location, Lakes Climber & Runner have gone from strength to strength where others in their industry have found themselves struggling.
The manager, Ian Barnes, decided to promote one of his staff to full-time web operations manager at the same time as launching a double-storefront PearlCart ecommerce system, running from the same stock database as his two till points. Since then, www.lakesrunner.com and www.lakesclimber.com have added valuable turnover to the company revenue for minimal extra overhead.
