The Newsdesk feature is an easy way to add snippets of news and articles to your website on an ongoing basis. A typical use for newsdesk is as a blog.
Newsdesk categories
You can set up as many newsdesk categories as you wish. Visit Website->Newsdesk from the main menu to set up your categories.
Newsdesk items
Within each category you can have up to 500 new items. Once you have reached 500, the olest will be deleted as you add new ones.
To add a newsdesk item, click "add item" in the Newsdesk categories screen. The text-only summary is optional. Add images and format text as required.
Displaying newsdesk on the website
To display a list of all Newsdesk categories, link to the following page:
http://www.mywebsite.com/news
To link directly to the contents of a category, use the following URL:
http://www.mywebsite.com/any-text-here-f-12.html
where 12 is the ID of the newsdesk category.
To show the last "x" newsdesk items, add the following widget to your website template. The first number is the Newsdesk category, and the second number is the number of items you would like to list:

Layout and style of newsdesk
If you add the items to your website and view the webpage source, you can see the necessary DIV structure so that your web designer can add colours, spacing and layout.
